Black-bellied sandgrouse

This is one of the most migratory birds in our country. Yet, we can watch it in the Castelejos during the summer months

Despite their similarity, it is bulkier than the pigeon. With a plump body and short legs, as far as it feathering is concerned, there are differences between the male and the female.

Its main feature, and which facilitates its identification during the flight, is its black belly.
